Our team is formed by a group of entrepreneurs with a twenty year long experience in the transport and business management, computer science experts, computer science system experts, as well as marketing experts.

Our History

The idea arose some years ago when we realized that many lorries travelled competely or partially empty; in most cases it was  small haulage contractors or minor companies.

But it was not unusual to find "main companies" in the same situation. We are talking about the famous "empty returns" ( at present they have an incidence of 30% !! ) Internet was just about to begin and the idea that the web should solve the problem came accordingly.

The quick and constant evolution and the even swifter diffusion of new technologies linked to the telecomunication system, like access to internet by mobiles, or SMS and the interaction between SMS and internet, made possibile this revolutionary way of thinking in the world of transports.

At last we could carry out , with a good chance of success, a system for which the haulage contractors, while travelling,  could take advantage of the information which was available in real time in internet: that’s to say  transport proposals directly by companies, without wasting time, in a very easy way, even by using the mobile only. SMS was the answer to the problem. The entrepreneurial idea was becoming real.

Then the main avalilable capabilities were found ( the Genoese vocation for transports and telecomunications is something historical!) so the NEW TRACK Srl was born, with the aim to manage and develop this branch of the company through the web site www.teletrucks.com

The project has been submitted to the Communication Watch Dog for the required permits and to the European Union through the Regione Liguria. Finally, the consent of Sviluppo Italia has given us the permission to locate c/o the Genoese premises of SVILUPPO ITALIA.
